We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to support installation, maintenance, repair, and customer training of high-end beauty and medical devices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electromechanical systems, customer service experience, and a solid understanding of working within a BSI-certified ISO 13485 quality management system. You will act as a key liaison between our company and clients, ensuring the highest level of equipment performance, customer satisfaction and problem resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform installation, calibration, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of beauty and medical equipment at customer sites.
  • Conduct on-site and remote quick start troubleshooting for clients on proper device usage and safety.
  • Maintain detailed service documentation, in compliance with ISO 13485 and regulations.
  • Support product lifecycle processes, including non-conformance reporting, corrective actions, and root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance and R&D teams to provide field feedback and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory, safety, and quality standards in all service activities.
  • Maintain an adequate inventory of parts and tools for service activities.
  • Travel to customer locations regionally/nationally as required (up to 80%).

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Degree or diploma in Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
  • Minimum 2–4 years’ experience in field service, ideally with medical or aesthetic devices.
  • Prior experience in an ISO 13485-compliant environment; familiarity with BSI certification is a plus.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electromechanical systems, lasers, RF, ultrasound, or similar technologies.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety standards, calibration procedures, and test equipment.
  • Basic understanding of network connectivity and software installation.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and time management.
  • Ability to work independently and manage field schedules efficiently, in combination with Engineering Co-Ordinator.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Certification or training related to laser safety, electromedical equipment, or aesthetic systems.
  • Experience with CRM/service management tools (e.g., Zoho, Microsoft).
