terrible* are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join their Hoxton office. terrible* is a full-service music merchandise company. We’re looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage logistics for live music tours and venues, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries of merchandise.
- Collaborate with couriers such as DHL, UPS, FedEx, and various 3PL warehouses to handle both national and international shipments.
- Work closely with clients, many of whom may be inexperienced, to guide them through the logistics process and ensure satisfaction.
- Utilize proprietary platforms (including portal*, our internal system), Aftership, and other courier platforms to track and manage shipments.
- Support the logistics team in refining processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Handle physical logistics tasks, including lifting and carrying boxes up to 20kg, and ensure smooth operation of equipment like trolleys for longer distances.
- Assist in resolving problems and challenges that arise during the logistics process, thinking critically and adapting quickly.
- Maintain communication using tools like Slack, Monday, and Xero to stay connected with both the team and external partners.
- Manage short-stay tour merch warehouse, ensuring proper inventory management of POS, iPads, and related tools, as well as overseeing their movements during tours.
- Collaborate with tour managers and artist teams to help plan tours and manage restocks, ensuring timely deliveries and inventory needs are met.
- Ensure smooth passage of goods through customs, proactively flagging and addressing any potential issues with shipments in advance.
- Oversee all inbound and outbound deliveries, ensuring accurate scheduling and timely fulfilment of shipments.
- Assist in setting up POS systems for tours and collaborate with the production team to ensure seamless operations.
- Manage all logistics-related billing and collaborate closely with the finance team to ensure accurate cost tracking and alignment with tour budgets.
Required Skills & Experience
- Prior experience in logistics, with a strong preference for experience in the music industry or live events.
- Familiarity with various courier platforms and 3PL warehouse systems.
- Experience with Aftership, portal*, Xero, Monday.com, and Shopify POS is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive attitude toward overcoming obstacles and finding solutions.
- Comfort with physical activity, including lifting and moving boxes up to 20kg.
- A love of music and alternative pop culture—understanding how music tours and venues operate is a huge plus.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A driving license and foreign language skills (especially French, German, or Spanish) are advantageous but not required.
