At 3C Services, we deliver ISO and Constructionline Gold-accredited services to the highways, infrastructure and construction sectors. From ready-mix concrete to vacuum excavation, surfacing, plant hire and Hiab haulage, we support projects of all sizes across the UK – 24/7.
We’ve earned our stripes by doing things properly. Over the years, we’ve worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, and we’re proud to say most of our work comes from repeat business and referrals.
As the business continues to grow, we’re looking to add an experienced vac ex operative to our team.
The role
You’ll be responsible for operating our vacuum excavators to safely and efficiently expose underground utilities, supporting projects across highways, utilities, construction and infrastructure.
Key duties will include:
- Safely operating vacuum excavation equipment on a variety of sites
- Carrying out pre-start checks, daily maintenance and reporting defects
- Working as part of a site team, liaising with supervisors, clients and other contractors
- Following strict health and safety procedures at all times
- Completing all required paperwork and job records accurately
- Providing excellent customer service, representing 3C Services in a professional and approachable manner
Requirements of the role
- Experienced in operating vacuum excavators
- Have a valid UK driving licence (HGV Class 2)
- Hold a CSCS card and Safety Passport
- Have a good awareness of health and safety on site
- Demonstrate a flexible and reliable approach to work
- Competitive salary (negotiable based on experience)
