3C Services is a North East-based concrete supplier and highways contractor, operating nationwide across the UK.
With a growing fleet of volumetric concrete mixers, vacuum excavators, grab wagons, plant equipment, Hiab vehicles and haulage trucks, we’re looking to add an experienced HGV technician/plant fitter to our growing team.
Based primarily in our Ashington workshop, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our fleet of wagons and plant machinery. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a strong mechanical background, ideally with experience working on both commercial vehicles and plant machinery. While most work will take place on site, a company van is provided for off-site repairs and emergency call-outs when required.
- Carrying out safety inspections on HGVs and plant equipment
- Performing routine servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs
- Diagnosing and fixing mechanical and electrical faults
- Preparing vehicles and machinery for MOT tests
- Keeping accurate maintenance records and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
- Working overtime when necessary to meet operational demands
Proven experience as an HGV technician, plant fitter or similar
Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems
Full UK driving licence
Flexible and reliable approach to work
