We’ve earned our stripes by doing things properly, and as the business continues to grow, we’re looking to add additional vacuum excavator operatives to our team.

The role

You’ll be responsible for operating our vacuum excavators to safely and efficiently expose underground utilities, supporting projects across highways, utilities, construction and infrastructure.

  • Safely operating vacuum excavation equipment on a variety of sites
  • Carrying out pre-start checks, daily maintenance and reporting defects
  • Working as part of a site team, liaising with supervisors, clients and other contractors
  • Following strict health and safety procedures at all times
  • Completing all required paperwork and job records accurately
  • Providing excellent customer service, representing 3C Services in a professional and approachable manner

Requirements of the role

  • Vac ex ticket/experience preferred but not essential - training can be provided for suitable candidates
  • Have a valid UK driving licence (HGV Class 2)
  • Hold a CSCS card and Safety Passport
  • Have a good awareness of health and safety on site
  • Demonstrate a flexible and reliable approach to work
