  • What you'll be doing: Working as part of our Property Services team, you'll:
  • Learn electrical installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair techniques.
  • Assist qualified electricians with planned and responsive maintenance across our housing stock.
  • Carry out work safely while following electrical regulations and health and safety procedures.
  • Develop fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work vehicles responsibly.

Complete your college work and apprenticeship assessments alongside your practical training.

This is delivered in conjunction with Places for People (Thrive Training Academy) .

It will require the apprentice to attend their Derby Academy 1 week per month, with travel and accommodation expenses covered.

Due to the time spent away at Pf P Thrive’s training facility, any applicants under the age of 18 must have permission from a legal guardian.

  • Can demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Is committed to completing the apprenticeship programme.
  • Has GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English at the required level for apprenticeship entry.

Please note this role is offered on a 48 -month fixed-term contract for the duration of the apprenticeship programme.

Salary: 1st Year = £15,392.00. 2nd Year onwards = minimum wage for age range. PLEASE be aware that this is regardless of age.
