Our client, Yamazaki Mazak is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leading Machine Tool manufacturer who have been at the forefront of the industry for many years. Due to increased demand within the department, our client now has a requirement for a CNC Machinist Setter/ Operator 4 & 5 Axis. 365 Resourcing are the preferred supplier working on behalf of Mazak. Job Description: • Setting & operating 4 & 5 axis machining centres. • Producing a wide & varied range of high tolerance parts which are used in the manufacture of Mazak CNC machines. • Understand Mazak CNC controls & offer improvement ideas to the role. • Work within a team of fellow engineers to strict health & safety guidelines & rules. • Play your part in promoting positive culture amongst staff by engaging in H&S improvements & kaizen initiatives. Person Specification: Essential Criteria: • Have an understanding of milling/machining centre machines. • Have experience & can safely set & operate automated CNC loaded machine tools. • Have experience with cutting tools, fixtures & measuring equipment. • Have a can-do attitude. • Prior experience working within a team in a busy manufacturing environment. Desirable Criteria: • Can edit & program from engineering drawings. • Would have served a mechanical engineering apprenticeship.
