Working arrangement: Site-based
365 Recruitment is seeking experienced Commissioning Managers for opportunities across data centre and critical power projects.
Working with operators, main contractors and specialist engineering businesses, you will lead commissioning activities from planning and factory acceptance testing through to integrated systems testing and final handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage commissioning plans, programmes and test schedules.
- Coordinate contractors, equipment vendors and commissioning specialists to deliver project milestones.
- Oversee the commissioning of electrical infrastructure, including HV/MV/LV systems, transformers, switchgear, UPS and standby generators.
- Coordinate interfaces with mechanical systems, BMS and EPMS.
- Lead factory and site acceptance testing, integrated systems testing and operational readiness activities.
- Review commissioning documentation, witness testing and manage defects through to resolution.
- Maintain safety, quality and technical standards throughout delivery.
- Ensure complete handover documentation and a smooth transition to operations.
Experience and Qualifications
- Proven commissioning management experience within data centres or comparable critical environments.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical infrastructure and associated building services.
- Experience managing commissioning from initial planning through to client handover.
- Ability to coordinate multiple contractors and communicate effectively with clients and project stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of site safety requirements; SMSTS desirable.
- Integrated systems testing and resilience testing.
- Battery storage, grid connections or major critical power installations.
