We are currently recruiting for an experienced Handyman for a temporary assignment in Plymouth. This role is suited to someone with solid all-round maintenance experience and some working knowledge of building systems within commercial or industrial environments.
Role responsibilities:
- Carrying out general maintenance and repair works
- Minor electrical works such as changing fittings (non-certified tasks only)
- Assisting with the upkeep and monitoring of building systems
- Supporting facilities or site teams with planned and reactive maintenance
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a handyman or maintenance operative
- Some familiarity with building systems (HVAC, plant rooms, fire alarm systems, BMS awareness advantageous)
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Good understanding of health and safety practices
- Valid CSCS card desirable but not essential
