About the Role

As an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering commercial and financial management on various construction projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with senior QSs and project managers to ensure value for money, maintain cost control, and drive financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation
  • Monitor project costs and advise on any financial risks or opportunities
  • Manage subcontractor packages including procurement, payments, and variations
  • Assist in monthly valuations and reporting
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Support junior team members and collaborate with senior staff

Requirements

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
  • 2-5 years of post-grad experience in a QS role
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., NEC, JCT)
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Proficient in cost management software and Microsoft Office suite
