We are looking for a reliable and organised Administrative Assistant to support the day-to-day running of a commercial office in the Whitchurch area. This role is ideal for someone starting their career or looking for a change of direction, as no previous administrative experience is required. The successful candidate must, however, be confident and professional when answering the telephone and dealing with enquiries and also have own transport due to the company's location.
Key Responsibilities
- Answering incoming phone calls promptly and confidently
- Taking messages and directing calls to the appropriate person
- General office administration duties including filing, data entry, and document management
- Assisting with emails, post, and basic correspondence
- Supporting colleagues with ad-hoc administrative tasks
- Maintaining a tidy and organised office environment
Requirements
- No previous administrative experience required
- Confident and professional telephone manner
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Basic computer skills (email, word processing, spreadsheets)
- Organised, punctual, and reliable
