FLT Counterbalance Driver - Willenhall
365 People are recruiting for an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver to join a busy operation in Willenhall. This is a hands on role within a fast paced industrial environment, where safety, reliability and efficiency are key. You'll be responsible for the safe movement, loading, unloading and storage of materials across the site. The Role £14.00 per hour
4 days on / 4 days off
7-day operation – weekend work required
Approximately 50% FLT / 50% manual work
The successful candidate must be comfortable with heavy lifting, manual handling and general yard duties, as well as operating the FLT. Safety, reliability and a strong work ethic are essential. Key Responsibilities Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck in a busy industrial environment
Load and unload vehicles in line with site procedures
Willingness to work weekends as part of the 4-on/4-off rota
Move, stack and organise products and materials throughout the yard and warehouse
Complete daily FLT safety checks and report any defects immediately
Ensure all materials are stored safely and correctly
Support stock control and inventory management when required
Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment
Follow all health & safety procedures and company policies
Assist with general yard duties when FLT work is not required
Work closely with production and transport teams to meet operational targets
