We are looking for an experienced Bench Joiner to join our busy workshop in DY2.
The Role:
- Manufacture high-quality commercial furniture and bespoke joinery
- Read and work from technical drawings
- Cut, shape and assemble timber and board materials
- Use hand tools, power tools and workshop machinery
- Prepare work for laminating, staining and painting
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
About You:
- Minimum 2 years bench joinery or cabinet-making experience
- Confident reading technical drawings
- Skilled with woodworking tools and machinery
- Good attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
- Reliable, organised and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of factory health & safety procedures and safe working practices
Personal Attributes:
- Highly organised with a strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills to liaise with foremen, designers and other team members
- Committed to maintaining a clean, tidy and compliant workshop environment
