We’re looking for a detail-driven Transport Administrator to join a busy Fulfilment Team, supporting day-to-day transport operations and ensuring freight movements, returns and invoicing are managed accurately and efficiently. This is a great role for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, is confident working with systems and spreadsheets, and can communicate clearly with customers, carriers and internal teams.
What you’ll be doing:
- Create and maintain domestic freight records (inbound/outbound), including backloads, return loads and pallets
- Book and build return loads, coordinate collection windows, chase confirmations and resolve access/ETA issues
- Prepare and reconcile customer invoices, checking rate cards/surcharges and resolving invoice queries
- Liaise with customers regarding collection times, POD queries and service updates, keeping accurate service logs
- Keep TMS/WMS and spreadsheets up to date and accurate
- Produce daily/weekly KPIs (e.g., OTIF, returns, cost-to-serve)
- Support the transport/warehouse interface (returns put-away, damages claims, pallet reconciliation)
- Escalate exceptions promptly and suggest corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in a transport, logistics, fulfilment or warehouse admin role (or similar fast-paced operations environment)
- Confident using TMS/WMS systems and Excel/spreadsheets (accurate, organised, comfortable with data)
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Clear communicator — comfortable dealing with customers, hauliers and internal teams
- Practical problem-solver who can spot issues early and escalate appropriately
