A growing engineering manufacturer is looking for an Aftersales Support Engineer to join its experienced engineering team. This is a varied role where you'll combine customer technical support, fault finding and production support, helping solve real engineering problems every day.
Please read the two must-haves before applying. Applications that don't meet both won't be considered:
- Previous experience supporting, servicing or fault-finding industrial machinery or automated equipment. Essential.
- Strong electro-mechanical fault-finding skills, with the ability to read electrical schematics and engineering drawings. Essential.

- Experience working with industrial machinery, automated equipment or PLC-controlled systems.
- A logical and methodical approach to diagnosing technical faults.
- Strong communication skills, with the confidence to support customers and engineers over the phone and by email.
- The ability to prioritise multiple technical issues in a fast-paced engineering environment.
- A proactive attitude with a genuine interest in learning new products and developing your technical knowledge.
The day to day: supporting customers and engineers with technical queries, diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, assisting production with technical issues, supporting testing and commissioning, investigating warranty issues, interpreting technical documentation and working closely with engineering and quality teams to resolve complex problems. Most support is provided remotely by phone and email, with occasional hands-on involvement in production and testing.
