We're currently recruiting for a Class 1 Shunter Driver to join a busy depot in Dunstable on an ongoing basis.

Shift Pattern

  • Sunday night to Thursday night
  • 23:00 - 08:00

Pay Rates

  • £19.08 per hour (Standard Rate)
  • £27.26 per hour (Overtime after 40 hours worked)

Duties

  • Shunting trailers around the depot and yard
  • Ensuring trailers are positioned safely and efficiently
  • Completing vehicle checks and reporting defects
  • Working closely with the transport team to support depot operations
  • Adhering to all health and safety procedures

Requirements

  • Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Previous shunting experience preferred
