Operations Administrator (Manufacturing) Salary: £26,000–£30,000 per year Contract: Full-time, permanent Location: Nottingham (office-based) The role Be the admin engine for the operations/production team. You’ll keep product and order information accurate, documentation tidy, and communication flowing between production, purchasing, suppliers and the wider office. This position could be a great fit for someone in the following job titles: Production Administrator, Planning Administrator, Project Coordinator in the manufacturing industry. What you’ll do * Maintain and update operational records and product data (items/SKUs, bills of materials, routing info) in the ERP. * Check data accuracy, fix discrepancies and keep documentation up to date. * Prepare simple packs/info for new product launches and changes. * Liaise with suppliers to confirm acknowledgements and delivery dates; chase when required. * Produce basic reports (data changes, supplier confirmations, progress updates). * General operations admin: spreadsheets, filing, document control, inbox support. What you’ll need * Proven admin experience in a busy manufacturing company (Experience in the furniture sector would be desireable) * Confident with Excel and databases/ERP (any system; Sage X3 is a bonus). * High attention to detail and pride in accurate data. * Strong organiser who can prioritise, juggle tasks and hit deadlines. * Clear communicator; comfortable working with shopfloor and office teams.
