About the Role: We are currently recruiting for a hands-on Production Operative to join a busy rural-based manufacturing site on a Temp to Perm basis. Due to the location, you must be able to drive to access the site. This is a great opportunity to grow within a supportive, long-standing team. Once permanent, you’ll be upskilled across departments and fully trained on both Reach and Counterbalance FLT, which comes with a pay increase.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Labelling, sampling, and decanting liquids into containers.
- Mixing solutions as part of the production process.
- Moving drums (up to 200kg; pivoting/twisting required).
- Manual lifting of up to 30kg.
- Completing basic quality and quantity checks.
- Recording stock codes and data (basic computer input).
- Rotating through departments based on workload.
- Following health & safety procedures at all times.
What You’ll Need:
- Must be able to drive (rural location).
- Good basic Maths, English and computer skills.
- Physically fit and able to lift/move heavy items.
- Cannot have asthma or back conditions (due to fumes/lifting).
- Willing to learn and work across multiple production areas.
