Pay (LTD): Class 1: £20.00 per hour, Class 2: £18.00 per hour.

We are recruiting experienced Class 1 drivers for an exciting logistics contract based in Slough, supporting high-profile transport operations within the production, staging, and events industry. This is a long-term opportunity for drivers who take pride in professional driving, punctuality, and responsibility. The work involves interesting, non-standard assignments ideal for those who want something beyond general haulage.

ROLE OVERVIEW

Class 1 (C+E) Duties:

  • Transporting trailers between sites and event locations
  • Use of American-style trailer hooks (training provided if required)
  • No manual handling - trailer-only work
  • Precision driving, often on production schedules with tight turnarounds
  • May involve overnight stays depending on the run

Class 2 (Cat C) Duties:

  • Moving production sets and stage equipment to film, TV, or live event venues
  • No loading/unloading - drivers strictly operate the vehicle
  • Straightforward routes but require good spatial awareness and professionalism
