Are you an experienced Warehouse Supervisor, Transport Supervisor, Logistics Supervisor or Team Leader looking for your next step? We are recruiting a hands-on Logistics Supervisor to take responsibility for a busy night operation covering both transport and warehouse activities. This is a varied operational role. You will spend part of your shift working from the logistics office, coordinating drivers, deliveries and the night operation, but you will also be expected to get out onto the warehouse floor and support the team. We are looking for someone who is happy to put on a hi-vis, get involved with picking, sorting and loading, and lead from the front when the operation needs it.
The Role
- Oversee the night transport and warehouse operation.
- Coordinate drivers, deliveries, collections and daily priorities.
- Supervise and support Warehouse Operatives.
- Monitor picking, sorting, loading and dispatch activity.
- Resolve delays and operational problems throughout the night.
- Monitor workloads, productivity and service levels.
- Work hands-on in the warehouse when required.
