The role:
Recruiting on behalf of a leading professional sports organisation. Your mission: win new brand partners, grow existing accounts, and deliver high-impact activations that drive ROI on matchdays and beyond.
What you’ll do:
- Prospect and qualify target brands; build a healthy sponsorship pipeline.
- Create tailored proposals/pitch decks aligned to partner objectives.
- Negotiate and close multi-asset deals against clear revenue KPIs.
- Manage and renew partner accounts; ensure rights delivery and reporting.
- Work with Marketing & Events to plan and execute activations.
- Track performance in CRM; report on revenue, pipeline and ROI.
- Network at industry/local events; represent the organisation professionally.
- Keep meticulous records of activity, contracts and forecasts.
What you’ll bring:
- 1+ year in sponsorship sales or B2B new business (sport/events preferred).
- Evidence of closing deals and hitting targets.
- Strong presentation, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Solid IT/CRM skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint; Salesforce/HubSpot a plus).
- Organised, proactive and comfortable working some evenings/weekends in season.
- Understanding of commercial partnerships, hospitality and brand activation.
