365 People is working with a specialist engineering business that manufactures and supplies industrial solutions across various sectors. Due to continued growth, the company is seeking an Installation & Commissioning Engineer to support both site-based and workshop operations.
This is a hands-on, field-based role involving the installation, commissioning, and servicing. The role will involve working at customer sites across the UK as well as supporting workshop activities. This opportunity would suit a practical engineer with strong mechanical skills who enjoys problem-solving and working in a varied environment. Travel is required, including occasional periods working away from home.
- Install systems and associated equipment in line with project specifications and procedures
- Carry out servicing, inspection, and maintenance of emissions systems
- Support workshop operations, including assembly and build activities when required
- Travel to customer sites across the UK, including working away when necessary
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with quality control procedures
- Follow health & safety policies and maintain safe working practices at all times
Experience in installation, servicing, or commissioning of industrial or mechanical systems
Experience with both mechanical and electrical systems
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
Engineering Fitter qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
CSCS card or relevant site certification
