365 People are recruiting 2x HGV Drivers for a specialist equipment manufacturer looking for reliable drivers who take pride in their work. This is a small, close-knit business where attitude matters just as much as experience. They're not looking for someone to fill a seat for a few weeks – they want drivers who will become part of the team long term.

Positions: HGV Class 1 & Class 2 Drivers

Class 1 Salary: £42,900 per annum

Class 2 Pay: £14.50 per hour

Hours: Monday–Friday | 06:00–16:00 | 50 hours per week

Contract: Permanent or Temp-to-Perm

What will you actually be doing?

This isn't your typical RDC to RDC driving job. You'll be delivering specialist attachments and equipment to customers across the UK, operating modern 2024 plate automatic flatbed vehicles. Typically 1–2 deliveries per day, occasionally up to 7–8 depending on the route. Deliveries covering Birmingham, Milton Keynes, Liverpool, Peterborough and surrounding areas. Occasional longer distance runs, including Newcastle. Loading and unloading equipment using a forklift. Securing loads using ratchet straps, brackets and bolts. Some manual handling and customer interaction.

What's in it for you?

  • £42,900 annual salary for Class 1 licence holders.
  • £14.50 per hour for Class 2 licence holders.
  • Monday–Friday working, 06:00–16:00.
  • 25 days annual leave.
  • Christmas shutdown.
  • Quarterly company profit-related bonus following probation.
  • Modern automatic flatbed vehicles.
  • Permanent or temp-to-perm opportunities.
  • Long-term stability within a friendly, close-knit team.

What kind of driver are they looking for?

Ideally, you'll have previous flatbed experience and know your way around ratchet straps and securing loads. An FLT licence would be advantageous, as the role involves loading and unloading equipment. You'll also need:

  • Valid HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence.
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
  • A good understanding of load security.
  • A polite, professional and customer-focused attitude.
  • A willingness to get involved with the physical side of the job.

More than anything, they want someone reliable, hardworking and looking for somewhere to stay long-term. If you're the type of driver who takes pride in doing a job properly, turns up on time and wants to be part of a company that values its drivers, this could be a great fit.
