We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hard-working 7.5 Tonne Driver to join a well-established, family-run business based in Leicester. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering consistent work and competitive pay.
Key Details:
- Monday to Friday (with occasional weekend shifts required)
- Start times: Between 04:30am - 07:00am
- Finish time: Around 6:00pm
- 45-minute break daily
- Weekly pay
- Must be flexible with occasional weekend work
Pay Rates:
- £14.70 per hour (standard rate)
- Saturdays: Time and a half
- Sundays: Double pay
The Role:
- Long-distance, nationwide driving
- Typically 13 deliveries per day across the UK
- 510 collections in the Leicester area during the afternoon
- Use of powered pump truck and forklift for loading/unloading
- Occasional nights out (particularly for Scotland runs)
- End-of-day duties include light vehicle preparation for the next shift
