Night Shift Warehouse Team Leader Hinckley | £32-35,000 DOE| Permanent Nights | Monday-Friday | 10:00pm-6:00am Salary: £32-35,000 DOE Location: Hinckley, Leicestershire Hours: Monday-Friday, 10:00pm-6:00am Shift: Permanent Nights Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Night Shift Warehouse Team Leader Are you an experienced Warehouse Team Leader or Warehouse Supervisor looking for a permanent night shift with no rotating shift pattern? We're recruiting for a Night Shift Warehouse Team Leader to join a busy and established logistics and distribution operation in Hinckley. This is a genuine Deputy Lead position, working closely with the Section Leader to manage the day-to-day warehouse operation. You'll take responsibility for the team, productivity, performance and operational standards throughout the night shift. You'll need to be comfortable leading from the front. This isn't a desk-based management position – you'll be visible on the warehouse floor, supporting your team, allocating workloads, resolving problems and making sure the operation delivers. You must have at least 3 years' experience leading a team within a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment to be considered. What You'll Be Doing * Leading and motivating warehouse operatives throughout the night shift. * Supporting the Section Leader with the day-to-day running of the warehouse. * Allocating workloads and ensuring labour is used effectively. * Driving productivity and ensuring operational KPIs are achieved. * Monitoring individual and team performance. * Delivering shift briefings and communicating operational priorities. * Carrying out Return to Work interviews and supporting absence management. * Supporting investigations, performance management and disciplinary processes. * Maintaining high standards of Health & Safety, quality and housekeeping. * Identifying operational issues and taking action to resolve them. * Working closely with other departments to maintain customer service levels. * Deputising for the Section Leader when required. Proven experience managing and motivating warehouse operatives. Experience monitoring productivity and warehouse KPIs. Confidence dealing with performance, attendance and day-to-day people issues. Experience allocating workloads and managing operational priorities. Good understanding of warehouse Health & Safety requirements. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to make decisions within a fast-paced logistics operation. Comfortable working permanent nights, Monday-Friday, 10:00pm-6:00am. What's On Offer? £32 - £35,000 per annum.
