Job Details:
Youll be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of goods across national routes, ensuring timely deliveries and upholding high standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle in line with legal and company requirements.
Complete multi-drop or trunking deliveries depending on contract.
Perform daily vehicle checks and promptly report any defects.
Accurately complete paperwork and delivery notes.
Maintain a professional manner with customers and colleagues.
Adhere to driving hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
Requirements:
Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.
Minimum 12 months of Class 1 driving experience.
Good understanding of driver regulations and road safety.
Excellent timekeeping and communication skills.
