Scunthorpe Pay: £200 per day PAYE + £25 night-out allowance Permanent Salary: £44,000 Days / £46,000 Nights Job Type: Temporary to Permanent Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, with weekend options available\n \n365 People are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers on behalf of an established transport and logistics operation in the Scunthorpe area.\n \nThis is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for experienced Class 1 drivers looking for consistent work, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position after 12 weeks.\n The Role You will be working across a variety of general haulage and trunking contracts, operating modern 26-tonne IVECO vehicles, primarily curtain siders.\n \nRoutes can include locations such as Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Newcastle, London, Scotland and Wales, depending on the contract.\Some contracts may involve light manual handling, but the majority of loading and unloading is completed using site equipment.\n Driver Requirements Class 1 (C+E) licenceMinimum 6 months' Class 1 experienceMinimum 25 years old for insurance purposesMaximum 6 points, with minor offences such as SP30s consideredGood understanding of load securityStrapping experience preferredReliable and professional attitudeComfortable with longer working days\n Working Hours Day Tramping: Typically around 16:00 starts\n \nThe majority of work is Monday - Friday, although weekend work is available.
