Class 1 Drivers (C+E) Tamworth

365 People are recruiting for HGV1 Drivers. We are looking for reliable, experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to support a busy distribution operation in Dordon. You will be completing store deliveries for a major national automotive parts network, with consistent shifts and long-term opportunities available.

The Role

  • Class 1 (C+E) trunking and store delivery
  • Box trailer work
  • Start windows: 18:00 - 21:00, 21:00 - 00:00, 00:00 - 03:00
  • Shifts run Sunday to Friday (no Saturdays)
  • Average 50 - 60 hours per week
  • Key holder store deliveries
  • Unloading cages using a tail lift and electric pump truck

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 6 months Class 1 driving experience
  • Comfortable working nights and unlocking stores
  • Store delivery experience preferred but not essential
  • Strong communication skills and reliability
  • Able to work independently and represent the client professionally

Pay

  • £19.00 per hour PAYE
  • £31 per night out
  • OT available

Paid Induction Includes

  • Drug test
  • 60-minute driving assessment
  • Manual handling
  • 5 buddy shifts (nights)
