Job Description
About the Role:
We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Class 1 Drivers to join our growing team in Coventry. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods to various destinations across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for those who take pride in their driving and are looking for a rewarding career with a well-established company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle for local, regional, and national deliveries
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers
- Perform daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance or issues
- Comply with all road safety regulations, company policies, and procedures
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle logs
What Were Looking For:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV licence
- CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification
- Digi-tacho card holder
- Minimum of 1 year driving experience (preferred)
- A good understanding of road safety and regulations
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work to deadlines
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- PAYE drivers
