We're currently recruiting for a Class 1 Shunter Driver to join a busy depot in Dunstable on an ongoing basis.
Shift Pattern:
- Sunday night to Thursday night
- 23:00 - 08:00
- Ongoing assignment
- Immediate start available
Pay Rates:
- £19.08 per hour (Standard Rate)
- £27.26 per hour (Overtime after 40 hours worked)
Duties:
- Shunting trailers around the depot and yard
- Ensuring trailers are positioned safely and efficiently
- Completing vehicle checks and reporting defects
- Working closely with the transport team to support depot operations
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous shunting experience preferred
