We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our clients busy and friendly branch located in Cumbernauld Business Park. This is a hands-on, varied role combining multi-drop van deliveries across the Central Belt with general warehouse duties. If you're energetic, organised, and have a positive, can-do attitude, this could be the perfect opportunity.

The Role

  • Completing multi-drop deliveries in Cumbernauld, Glasgow, Coatbridge, Airdrie, Falkirk, Stirling, Kilsyth, Kirkintilloch, and surrounding areas
  • Providing a timely, professional service to customers
  • Assisting with goods-in and checking incoming deliveries
  • Picking and packing customer orders accurately
  • Carrying out general warehouse and stock duties
  • Supporting the wider branch team as required

What We're Looking For

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience driving a van (desirable but not essential)
  • Good knowledge of Central Belt routes (desirable)
  • A positive, proactive, can-do attitude
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Flexibility to work beyond standard hours when required

Working Hours

  • 42.5 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday
  • Typical hours: 7:00am - 4:30pm (may vary slightly)
  • 1 in 4 Saturdays, 8:30am - 12:00pm (paid overtime)

Salary & Benefits

  • £25,000 - £30,000 per year

Additional Information

  • Deliveries are local, not across all of Scotland
  • Van type: typically a Ford Transit / Transit Custom
  • Handball involves moderate lifting (cable reels, lighting, fuse boards, etc.)
  • 2 years van-driving experience preferred

Insurance Criteria

  • Clean or acceptable driving record
  • Minimum 2 years driving
  • No recent high-value insurance claims
  • No disqualifying offences in the last 5 years
  • Must be 21+
