We are currently recruiting Class 1 (HGV) Drivers for a well-established operation based in Cardiff. This is a strong opportunity to join a modern fleet with consistent shifts and competitive pay.
The Role
- Driving Class 1 (CE) vehicles on scheduled routes
- A mix of duties including trunking and manual handling
- Ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods
- Completing all relevant paperwork and compliance checks
Shift Pattern
- 4 on / 4 off rota
- 04:00 / 05:00 / 06:00 / 07:00
The Fleet
- Modern Volvo automatic trucks
- 24 plate vehicles (newer fleet)
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (CE) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Newly qualified drivers welcome (subject to passing assessment)
Assessment Details
- Conducted at Lutterworth depot with a driver trainer
- Paid as a full shift
- Travel provided to and from the Lutterworth depot
Nights Out
- Generally not required, although occasional exceptions may apply
