About the Role

365 People are seeking a highly organised and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our team based in Rubery. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced logistics professional to play a key role in ensuring the safe, compliant, and cost-effective transportation of goods throughout the UK and internationally.

Working closely with customers, suppliers, warehouse personnel, and the sales team, you will coordinate transport operations, manage export documentation, and provide excellent customer service while driving efficiency and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispatch customer orders in line with agreed lead times.
  • Organise and coordinate UK and international transportation.
  • Produce and complete transport documentation, including collection notes, delivery notes, manifests, commercial invoices, and customs paperwork.
  • Ensure all export documentation complies with shipping, customs, and legal requirements.
  • Manage supplier transport arrangements and delivery schedules.
  • Maintain and update transport registers and logistics records.
  • Analyse freight costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce expenditure.
  • Coordinate warehouse pick and pack priorities to meet delivery targets.
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers regarding deliveries, shipments, and order updates.
  • Provide sales administration support and customer service assistance.
  • Handle inbound and outbound telephone calls and email enquiries.
  • Produce weekly and monthly KPI reports and performance metrics.
  • Work collaboratively across warehouse, logistics, and sales functions.

About You

Essential Requirements:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths.
  • Previous experience in a logistics-focused role.
  • Experience managing international shipments and understanding customs and shipping requirements.
  • Customer service and sales administration experience.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Microsoft Teams.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Positive, professional, and collaborative approach.

Desirable:

  • Level 35 IoSCM qualification or equivalent in Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience using ERP systems.
  • Previous experience with Sage software.
  • Adaptable and agile working style.
  • Strong accountability and decision-making skills.
