Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour | Hours: 09:45 – 17:30
We are looking for reliable and hardworking Food Production Operatives to join a busy food manufacturing and packaging team in Tyseley, Birmingham.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with food production experience, particularly those familiar with spice handling, manual handling and VFFS packaging machinery.
Key Responsibilities Handling, weighing and packing a variety of spices and food products.
Operating and assisting with VFFS (Vertical Form Fill Seal) packaging machines.
Carrying out manual handling tasks safely and efficiently.
Ensuring products are packed accurately and meet quality standards.
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food hygiene and workplace safety.
Working as part of a team to achieve daily production targets.
Candidate Requirements Previous experience in food production, food packing or manufacturing is preferred.
Familiarity with VFFS packaging machines is highly desirable.
Comfortable carrying out manual handling duties.
Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Good attention to detail and a positive, reliable attitude.
A strong commitment to food hygiene, quality and health and safety.
Flexibility to work Monday to Saturday.
Pay & Working Hours Pay: £12.71 per hour.
Shift time: 09:45 – 17:30.
Break: 1 hour unpaid lunch.
Working days: Monday to Saturday.
