My client is a leading Electrical Wholesaler, they are looking for an External Sales Manager for their Birmingham Branch.
The Role of External Sales Manager:
- Growing and increasing sales in the branch's geographical area.
- Continually identifying and developing new and existing business accounts.
- Developing strong customer relationships to maximise the full potential of all accounts.
- The ability to not be afraid of rejection, be it on the phone or face to face.
- Working as part of a tightly knit team to achieve high standards of business excellence.
Essential External Sales Manager Skills:
- Cold calling on the telephone willingness and tenacity.
- The ability to approach companies direct, understanding how to spot a suitable target company.
- Able to demonstrate sample products confidently face to face to potential clients.
- The ability to build and sustain professional relationships.
- The ability to independently plan, organise and work to tight deadlines.
