Burton Green are happy to be working with an Ipswich town centre firm of Financial Advisers. It is an exciting time to join an established and reputable team with opportunities for career progression.
The ideal candidate will have a background in the financial services industry, level 4 qualification as a minimum, and the ability to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of pensions and investments in order to competently provide financial advice to clients.
Key Duties:
- To provide financial advice to the client, analysing information gathered and undertaking sufficient research to make suitable recommendations.
- Maintaining appropriate levels of CPD as well as technical or legislative changes within the marketplace.
- Fully comply with the Compliance and Training and Competence Procedures of the firm as well as with the requirements of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, and the FCA Principles, Rules and the Code of Practice for Approved Persons.
- Must have previous experience and detailed knowledge of FCA and be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the industries regulatory requirements ie., SMCR, MIFID, PROD, Consumer Duty.
- To be communicative, organised, self-disciplined and confidently pursue new avenues of work through networking events.
