We are looking for a highly motivated Executive Assistant / Office Manager to join our small but busy team based in West Mersea. This will be a pivotal role in supporting the Chairman and Managing Director, as well as contributing to office management and other business operations. The role will be varied and for someone who is highly organised, a great communicator and adaptable.
Job Overview
As the Executive Business Assistant you will provide effective and efficient administrative support to the Directors and senior stakeholders. The role demands an organised, proactive individual who can handle confidential information with discretion and work effectively in a changing environment. You will ensure smooth & efficient running of the head office environment, and will work closely with all areas of the business to support them in administration tasks.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Executive Support
- Diary management, meeting scheduling and handling personal correspondence
- Booking travel / accommodation
- Discreet and professional handling of family tasks or information
- Ensuring smooth running of head office including facilities and equipment
- Point of contact for visitors
- Taking overflow calls from main switchboard and providing cover on head office front desk
- Proofread and manage correspondence
- Assisting with internal comms and company projects
- Organise team events, and other corporate functions as needed
- Support plant & vehicle fleet administration
- Support aftercare administration
- Support the FD in HR onboarding and people related tasks
- Support the FD in the timely renewal of contracts and to ensure effective cost management
