You will play a key leadership role across multi-disciplinary teams, guiding them through complex consulting engagements and be responsible for creating and positioning strategic change agendas within Kyndryl's largest accounts across the C-suite, spanning the intersection between complex Business and IT customer solutions, transformations that impact across the entire customer ecosystem.

As a Consult Partner, you will have a pivotal role in driving profitable growth, leveraging our comprehensive capabilities to build strong client relationships, and leading your team to success. This role demands a strong presence, industry expertise, and the ability to cultivate relationships with CXO-level clients. Your leadership will be critical in fostering talent development and innovation within the organisation. This role will also lead the overall client engagement and deliver high-quality client work alongside senior client stakeholders.

Working in a transaction environment, which may be pre-deal or post-deal, planning post-deal implementation, and ultimately supporting execution. Partners will be focused on financial impact, utilisation and contribution, client impact and leadership.

Sport is entering a hypergrowth era driven by digital fan engagement, immersive experiences, and data-driven operations. We need a Consult Partner to drive new business within Media & Entertainment industry focusing on Sport. You will design and deliver next-generation sports venues, orchestrate AI and cloud transformations, and redefine operating models for leagues, clubs, and venue operators.

Candidates must have a strong track record of delivering large-scale digital transformation engagements, deep client relationships within their industry domain, and proven ability to shape and lead complex consulting programmes aligned to one or more of our core value propositions.

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Leverage your network to pursue new business within Sport.
  • Shape end-to-end transformation strategies for stadiums and sports ecosystems—covering fan engagement, venue operations, and monetisation levers.
  • Lead programmes embedding AI, automation, and cloud platforms to enable real-time analytics, personalised experiences, and operational agility.
  • Partner with hyperscalers and ISVs to activate smart venue solutions (edge connectivity, IoT, immersive tech).
  • Drive workforce transformation for venue operators—future-proof skills and operating models.
  • Publish thought leadership on sports digitalisation, fan experience innovation, and AI governance.

Contribute to Profitable Growth:

  • Drive significant financial outcomes through signings and revenue targets consisting of c. ÂŁ12-15m per annum in volume (i.e. Consult) sales whilst overseeing a similar target for managed revenue.
  • Ensure sustained growth and profitability, managing margin expectations and backlog growth.
  • Support the identification, pursuit and conversion of a pipeline of business development opportunities.
  • Undertake scoping and fee negotiation on engagements while ensuring profitability and understanding, and containing risk.

Client Engagement:

  • Build and maintain deep relationships with client CXOs and be seen as the 'go-to' person and a trusted advisor by senior executives.
  • Leading C-level client interactions and consulting initiatives, deliverables and outputs of a deal engagement.
  • Demonstrate credibility and experience to advise and deliver on complex consulting engagements.
  • Enhance client satisfaction, as measured by Net Promoter Score (NPS) and new relationship development; Secure client references.

Operational Excellence:

  • Achieve individual and team utilisation targets.
  • Lead the design of complex engagements and take responsibility for the oversight of delivery, ensuring high performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Act as the ongoing client escalation point for delivery engagements where the Consult Partner has the CXO / Sponsor key relationship.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Strategic consulting Experience at a top‑tier or equivalent strategic leadership role in a GSI/hyperscaler.
  • Ability to frame complex business challenges, design transformation programmes, and articulate how technology services unlock enterprise value.
  • Industry credibility & access: 10–15+ years in Sport with deep understanding of sector economics and senior relationships either within sports arena.
  • Technology services leadership: Expertise in cloud migration, data platforms, AI/GenAI governance, and automation frameworks; ability to link architecture to business outcomes.
  • Experience delivering multi‑tower programmes (Cloud, Data/AI, Security, Digital Workplace), with mainframe and network modernisation as enabling layers where relevant.
  • Commercial & delivery excellence: Proven track record of seven‑figure pursuits, structured qualification, and value‑based deal design.
  • Governance of complex programmes: benefits tracking, RAID, executive steering, and risk/commercial control.
  • Change & communication: Executive storytelling and ability to make technology strategy investable for non‑technical leaders.
  • Demonstrated success in workforce transformation—operating model redesign and adoption at scale.

Preferred:

  • Exposure to adtech/martech ecosystems, rights management, consent/privacy regimes, or venue digitalisation; public thought leadership (conferences, publications).

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Productivity skills: Exceptional and advanced PowerPoint, Word & Excel skills to help convey messages and deliverables through modern consulting techniques. Ability to “roll up sleeves” and create/provide content for proposals, SOW and deliverables. Ensure client and deliverable deadlines, and consult management system compliance. Takes pride in creating polished work products.
  • Communication: Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly articulate the insights from findings to relevant stakeholders. Able to manage communication at working levels and C-level gravitas. Able to drive and participate in workshops, clearly outlining outcomes and creating/presenting materials and deliverables.
  • Work with Empathy: Lead and participate in client and internal Kyndryl teams with empathy. Ability to understand and recognise multiple points of view but get to outcomes with kindness and resolve. Works well within a complex matrixed business and client environment as well as independently.
  • Leadership: Demonstrates a self-starter mindset with client and Kyndryl outcomes top of their mind. Ability to mentor and mentee, create an environment and workplace of choice for peers and team members, and be the role model of professional excellence.
