360Me is building a precision-health platform that merges diagnostics, wearables and AI to drive measurable reductions in biological age. We’re looking for a CTO who can blend deep research pedigree with hands-on engineering leadership—someone as comfortable discussing quantum-scale data problems as they are shipping a Docker container to production.
What Sets This Role Apart
- Research-engineering bridge – You’ll lead a culture that moves frontier ideas (LLMs, neurosymbolic AI, embeddings, multi-omics fusion) from prototype to product, mirroring the career journeys of candidates who have scaled research teams, built vector-search micro-services and delivered first-of-kind proofs-of-concept to enterprise clients.
- Green-field architecture – Own end-to-end design for our food-image NLP pipeline, multi-source nutrient graph, and recommendation engine—all with clinical-grade auditability.
- Hands-on impact – We expect you to write, review and ship code in the first 90 days, then scale systems and teams (data, ML, platform) to 20+ engineers within 18 months.
- Mission with metrics – Success is quantified: biological-age delta, engagement adherence and model explainability—not vanity MAUs.
Your First 12 Months
- Ship V1 of the food-analysis API (image + text → nutrient vector → protocol tag).
- Stand-up an ML Ops stack (Vertex AI / Kubeflow, Terraform-managed infra) that supports rapid retraining and audit logs.
- Scale the team—hire or upskill research engineers, data scientists and backend developers; formalise career ladders and a high-trust culture.
- Secure the first clinical pilot by delivering accuracy & traceability gains over incumbent LLM baselines.
We’ll Be Excited If You Have
- PhD / D.Phil. (or equivalent depth) in Physics, CS, Computational Biology or similar, with peer-reviewed research or patented work.
- 10+ years engineering leadership; 5+ years building AI/ML or data platforms at scale.
- Proven track record of taking a 0→1 research concept to commercial launch—ideally in health, biotech, or regulated SaaS.
- Expertise designing vector-search, knowledge-graph or multi-source ETL pipelines; comfort with GCP/AWS, Terraform and container orchestration.
- A product mindset: you weigh user value and unit economics in every technical decision.
- Clear communication style—able to brief executives yet deep-dive with engineers.
Believe in Hands-On, Zero-to-One Build Culture: This isn’t a CTO role where you inherit a system and hire 10 managers. This is a roll-up-your-sleeves, get-into-the-terminal opportunity. We’re looking for someone who enjoys writing Terraform as much as discussing architecture, and who’s comfortable setting up Kafka or Airflow when needed. You’ll architect, build, and deploy core services—embedding pipelines, image-to-nutrient models, ML workflows, and real-time APIs—then scale the team around what you’ve proven works. You’ll be the technical north star and equally happy being the first engineer on call. If that excites you, let’s talk.
