Salary: £36,000 per annum.

About the Role

Join a renowned British luxury house celebrated for its refined craftsmanship and timeless accessories. As Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in leading the shop floor within a prestigious London department store, supporting the Store Manager in delivering an exceptional client experience while driving commercial performance and team development.

Responsibilities

  • Support overall store performance through strong floor leadership, daily operations, and KPI delivery.
  • Deliver exceptional, client-focused service while fostering a warm, knowledgeable, and luxury-led environment.
  • Support the leadership, coaching, and development of a team of Client Advisors, ensuring high standards in clienteling, presentation, and performance.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, upholding the brand’s heritage, craftsmanship, and service excellence at all times.
  • Assist with stock management, deliveries, training, and onboarding of new team members.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to execute visual merchandising guidelines and seasonal campaigns.
  • Act as Manager on Duty when required, ensuring smooth and professional store operations.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Assistant Manager, Supervisor, or Senior Sales Associate within luxury retail.
  • Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, shop-floor-focused approach.
  • Highly client-focused, with a genuine appreciation for craftsmanship, heritage, and luxury service standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organised, commercially aware, and motivated to deliver results.

Salary: £36,000 per annum
