Design & Sales Consultant – Italian Design Brand
Location:Â Chelsea Store
Salary: £40,000 per annum + Team Commission
Overview:
This position is ideal for an interior design professional with a passion for luxury retail and a flair for customer engagement. You'll combine your technical knowledge of space planning and design software (such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit) with strong interpersonal skills to deliver a highly consultative, tailored customer experience. Your role will help bridge the gap between design vision and product recommendation, supporting clients in creating exceptional interior spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet clients with warmth and professionalism, offering design-led consultations.
- Use your interior design background to provide expert advice on layouts, furnishings, and materials.
- Produce or interpret floor plans and mood boards using AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar software to support client proposals.
- Offer tailored product recommendations aligned with design needs, lifestyle, and spatial requirements.
- Ensure the showroom is maintained to the highest standards in visual presentation and layout.
- Support project management by accurately logging client briefs, quotes, and plans via CRM and design tools.
- Maintain accurate inventory and ensure product display aligns with luxury design aesthetics.
- Assist with in-store events and private client appointments.
- Analyze client trends and preferences to help shape merchandising and presentation strategies.
- Professionally manage feedback and resolve customer queries with a design-forward approach.
Requirements:
- 2–3 years of experience in interior design, ideally within luxury furniture, homeware, or premium design studios.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar design/drafting software.
- Strong sense of aesthetics, spatial awareness, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and consultative selling skills.
- Experience using CRM and project tracking tools.
