Role Overview
As a Cashier, you will play a pivotal role in delivering the brand client experience. Responsible for the smooth and accurate processing of transactions, you will ensure that every client leaves with a lasting impression of efficiency, discretion, and elegance. This is a client-facing role that requires precision, professionalism, and a natural affinity for luxury service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a warm and professional welcome to clients at the cash desk.
- Process all sales transactions with accuracy and efficiency, in line with the brand procedures and the department store policies.
- Handle multiple payment methods (cash, credit card, store credits) with discretion and attention to detail.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures regarding returns, exchanges etc.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales team to ensure seamless client service from selection to purchase.
- Maintain a well-presented, organised, and discreet cash desk environment.
- Safeguard sensitive client data and financial information, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
- Assist with administrative and back-office duties including daily cash reconciliation, invoicing, and reporting.
- Support in special events, product launches, and peak trading periods to ensure smooth client flow and transaction handling.
Profile
- Previous experience in a cashier, client service, or administrative role within a luxury retail environment preferred.
- Strong numerical skills and high attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with a client-focused approach.
