Store Manager - Northampton (New Store Opening)

Salary: £35,510 Basic + Uncapped Bonus (OTE £60,000-£65,000)Lead a Brand-New Store from Day One An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Store Manager to lead the launch of a brand-new retail showroom in Northampton.

This is a unique opportunity for a driven and commercially focused Store Manager to make a genuine impact from day one.

You'll be responsible for building, motivating and developing a brand-new team while driving sales performance and creating an outstanding customer experience.

We're looking for a hands-on leader with experience within the furniture, home furnishings, home improvement, or wider big-ticket retail sector.

You'll be passionate about people, thrive in a target-driven environment, and have a proven track record of delivering results through strong leadership and coaching.

With a basic salary of £35,510 and realistic earnings of £60,000-£65,000 through an industry-leading uncapped bonus scheme , this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Store Manager looking for their next challenge.

The Role As Store Manager , you will take full responsibility for the overall performance of the showroom, ensuring sales targets, customer satisfaction, and operational standards are consistently achieved.

Key responsibilities include: Driving showroom sales performance and profitability.

Leading, coaching and developing a newly recruited sales team.

Creating a high-performance culture focused on customer service and results.

Recruiting, onboarding and retaining top retail talent.

Delivering regular training, feedback and performance reviews.

Managing daily showroom operations and ensuring exceptional retail standards.

Maintaining compliance across health & safety, GDPR, financial procedures and stock control.

Working alongside visual merchandising teams to create an engaging customer environment.

Analysing sales data and identifying opportunities to improve performance.

Championing a seamless customer journey across both in-store and digital channels.

About You To be successful in this Store Manager position, you'll have: Previous experience managing a high-turnover retail store.

Furniture, home furnishings, home improvement or similar big-ticket retail experience.

A proven track record of driving sales growth and delivering against targets.

Strong leadership, coaching and people development skills.

The ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve exceptional results.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

A hands-on leadership style with strong commercial awareness.

Experience building engagement and performance within sales-driven environments.
