The Role
- Support the running of a busy self-storage site—playing a key role in driving unit sales, maintaining high facility standards, and leading a small team.
- This is a hands-on, customer-facing position where you'll be managing enquiries, converting leads into rentals, and ensuring the site operates efficiently, securely, and in line with brand standards.
What You'll Be Doing
- Team Leadership
- Support the General Manager in leading and developing a small, high-performing team.
- Lead by example on the front line, setting standards for sales and service.
- Step up to manage the site in the General Manager's absence.
- Sales & Occupancy
- Drive unit rentals by converting enquiries into move-ins.
- Maximise occupancy and revenue through effective upselling and pricing awareness.
- Monitor performance against KPIs and targets.
- Customer Experience
- Deliver a friendly, professional service to all customers—face-to-face, phone, and email.
- Support customers through their storage journey, from enquiry to move-out.
- Resolve any issues quickly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Site Operations
- Oversee daily site operations including admin, audits, and reporting.
- Ensure units, reception, and external areas are clean, secure, and well-presented.
- Manage move-ins, move-outs, and account management.
- Security & Compliance
