We are looking for an experienced Supervisor to oversee day-to-day repairs and void property works within a busy maintenance team. You will lead a team of operatives, ensuring high standards of workmanship, safety and efficiency while delivering repairs and planned works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage operatives and monitor performance
- Scope, survey and price works using schedules of rates
- Oversee health and safety and deliver toolbox talks
- Ensure vehicles, stock and equipment are maintained
- Handle performance reviews, absence management and investigations
- Support reactive maintenance and planned works across contracts
- Maintain strong customer and tenant relationships
Requirements:
- NVQ or equivalent in a trade discipline
- Full UK driving licence - please inform us of any points if so
- Strong technical knowledge across building maintenance and construction
- 5+ years' experience in maintenance, with 2 years in a supervisory role
- Good IT skills and job management system knowledge
- SSSTS and scaffold inspection certificates desirable
