My client are a leading Consultancy in the Commercial Sales arena helping Businesses and Retailers all across the UK. Going through extensive growth they are bringing inhouse their Development function and as such are looking for an experienced Software Development Manager (.NET) to join the business.
As our Software Development Manager (.NET) you will lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team (4-6) and work closely with a newly appointed Product Owner to deliver secure, scalable, and user-friendly applications that meet the needs of a fast-moving operational business.
On a daily basis the Software Development Manager (.NET) will be responsible for:
- Lead and manage a team of mobile, web, and backend developers.
- Take ownership of the existing data-capture platform and drive its stabilisation and improvement.
- Define a clear technical and architectural roadmap focused on modernisation and long-term growth.
- Set engineering standards and oversee code quality, testing, DevOps practices, and release processes.
- Work with the Product Owner to translate business needs into actionable delivery plans.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Software Development Manager (.NET) to build and shape a brand-new in-house development function. Working within a supportive environment with autonomy to influence the technical direction and real ownership over the operational platform.
You should have experience of the following:
- Proven experience managing software development teams delivering mobile and/or web applications.
- Strong technical grounding (ideally with .NET and Azure, or similar modern frameworks).
