Due to increasing opportunities in the region, a vacancy has arisen within our client’s Skyline team for a Business Account Manager to join the Southern Team. The ideal candidate will live somewhere around the Northern M25 with easy access into central London . You will join them on a full-time, permanent basis , and in return, you will receive a competitive salary + benefits. As the UK market leading Kitchen, Bedroom and Bathroom fitted furniture manufacturer, they have had unsuppressed growth over the last 40 years, with an emphasis on providing a high standard of products and service. They are currently seeking the very best people, to further strengthen their position within the industry by appointing dedicated individuals to share in their success. The Business Account Manager role: As their Business Account Manager, you will have the skills to manage and grow existing accounts with key contractors in the South of England relating to the high-rise market, predominantly covering London and the surrounding areas. They are looking for an individual who has a proven track record of securing new business, ideally in the high-rise market. This is a technical and specification-based sales role so attention to detail and a methodical approach is essential, kitchen experience is also desirable. Ideally, you will be familiar with looking at Scope of Works and Employers Requirements and ensuring that their tender is fully compliant with those documents. The key responsibilities of their Business Account Manager will include: Securing new Contractors and developing long term relationships with them to secure all future schemes from them An understanding of platforms such as A-Site and the importance of making sure drawings are at Status A before kitchens are called off Finalising the specification pretender and submitting all the relevant information to the internal departments to arrange the design and quotations for pending schemes Presenting the quotations and designs to the Contractors post tender Following up with the contractors to secure new works and then develop relationships to build further pipeline for the future Organising site set up meetings prior to handing over to the Project management Team when the sites go live Working closely with the team to ensure that customers are getting excellent service and we are maximising market share Building relationships with key customers and growing those accounts Achieving turnover growth within existing and new accounts, sales experience is desirable In order to succeed in this Business Account Manager role, you must have: The ability to communicate confidently with people at all levels to help develop, sell and maintain existing relationships with, Site/Project Managers, Buyers, and Senior Managers. This all relates to high rise developments only in the designated area The ability to manage multiple projects positively prior to going live on site The ability to work well under pressure Diligence is key with an attention to detail to extract information from the tenders packs to submit a compliant bid Self-motivated and able to maintain deadlines Willing to work as part of a dynamic team You will be: The desire to build a career and succeed in a customer-focused environment Excellent organisational and administrative skills and be computer literate A full UK driving licence, as travel within the area and throughout the UK, when relevant, will be required A relevant CSCS card, but this can be included as part of the training This position will be rewarded with a competitive salary.
