About the Role:

As the Night Shift Manager for our Car Park operation at Gatwick Airport, you’ll oversee a dynamic team and ensure the smooth running of a busy parking operation during the night shift. Your role will be key in ensuring that our car park operations meet the needs of around 600-650 customers daily.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of 70 people, including car parking attendants, bus drivers, and customer service staff.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and manage team performance, providing support, coaching, and feedback.
  • Operational Oversight: Oversee the operational flow from customer check-in at reception to the safe and efficient parking of vehicles.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Ensure that all customers are processed promptly and handle any customer concerns efficiently.
  • Decision-Making: Responsible for making decisions on the ground regarding operational issues or customer complaints.
  • Manage Routines: Ensure that all operational routines are followed by your team.
  • Fleet Management: Oversee the fleet of buses and ensure they’re ready for customer transfers.
