My client is a leading Housing Association who provide some of the most affordable homes in London and the South East and offer a wide range of support to the community.

We are looking to hire an Applications Support Analyst (NEC Housing) to ensure their business‑critical applications are stable

The Applications Support Specialist role exists to ensure their business‑critical applications are stable, reliable and fully supported. The Applications Support Analyst (NEC Housing) provides technical knowledge across the full application portfolio, with a heavy focus on NEC Housing, helping to keep systems running smoothly so that operational teams can deliver services effectively.

On a daily basis the Applications Support Analyst (NEC Housing) will be responsible for:

  • Provide expert support across Hyde’s application portfolio, resolving incidents and service requests within agreed service levels.
  • Lead the investigation and resolution of high‑priority incidents, restoring service quickly and reducing business disruption.
  • Troubleshoot application, integration and data issues using a structured, methodical approach.
  • Carry out root cause analysis on recurring or complex issues, documenting findings and recommending long‑term fixes.
  • Perform approved configuration and setup activities in line with Hyde’s standards, controls and governance requirements.
  • Support minor enhancements, defect investigations and testing activities to improve system performance and user experience.
  • Support lifecycle activities including upgrades, patches, releases, regression testing and post‑implementation validation.
  • Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity exercises, including readiness checks and follow‑up assurance actions.
