An excellent opportunity for a freelance No 1 Site Manager has arisen with our Refurbishment / Roofing Client who deliver outstanding refurbishment schemes with values of projects from £500k – £2.5million.
Our client is currently looking for a freelance No 1 Site Manager, to work on the refurbishment and re-roofing of a building at Birmingham Airport, B26 3QY that will run for around 7-8 weeks starting on the 28th April 2025.
The Company are building a strong reputation for delivering high quality and well designed schemes that achieve high praise from the end users.
Suitable candidates for this role must have experience as an autonomous No.1 Site Manager with project values from £500k to £2.5million across the refurbishment, construction and / or roofing sectors ideally.
You will be required to liaise with the client, drive the subcontractors, manage contractors on site as the No.1, general day to day issues, quality and programme whilst being a self-motivated individual that is autonomous in your role.
The No 1 Site Manager must be capable of managing all aspects of the project, previous experience of liaising with clients on a daily basis, whilst reporting to a visiting Contracts Manager.
Skills / Requirements:
- The successful No 1 Site Manager must have previous refurbishment, construction and / or roofing experience
- CSCS, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness, SMSTS, Manual Handling, Working at Height & Fire Marshall
- Experience of site managing refurbishment schemes is ideal for this client, with values up to £2.5million

Salary and Benefits:
On offer is a day rate of up to £260 dependent upon experience for the successful candidate.
